Universal electric knife-splitter with adjustable slit thickness. Suitable for carving cheese and cold snacks
A slicing machine drives a circular blade at a steady speed, letting the operator feed food across the edge without pushing or pulling. The blade's rotation pulls the food into the cut, so the slice is even and the operator's hands stay clear of the edge. A non-stick coating on the blade and the movable wall reduces drag, so the food slides cleanly and the machine needs less force to run.
The operator sets the thickness on a dial marked 0 to 10 mm, locks the food against the wall, and starts the motor. The blade turns continuously; the operator slides the carriage back and forth, and each pass produces a slice. A built-in sharpener keeps the edge keen without removing the blade. When the trolley is detached, the housing and the blade are exposed for cleaning.
The housing is anodised aluminium, light enough to move yet stiff enough to hold the blade steady. A knife cover shields the blade when the machine is not in use. The 230 V supply matches a standard single-phase kitchen circuit, so the machine can be plugged in wherever a worktop socket is available. The 16 kg weight means two people can lift it onto a counter or into a cupboard without a trolley.
The 490 mm length, 380 mm width and 380 mm height give a footprint that fits on most worktops or prep tables. The adjustable cut from 0 to 10 mm covers everything from wafer-thin slices to thick cuts for grilling or roasting. The removable trolley and the non-stick surfaces let the operator rinse the parts under a tap or wipe them with a cloth, so the machine is ready for the next batch within minutes.
The built-in sharpener means the blade can be touched up without removing it or sending it away. The anodised finish on the housing resists scratches and corrosion, so the machine keeps its appearance even in a busy kitchen.
