The LOTUS SE-70 M is a professional electric salamander grill.

A salamander grill cooks food from above using radiant heat. The SE-70 M has an open front, allowing food to be placed directly under the heating elements. The intensity of the heat can be controlled, and the cooking grid can be adjusted manually or automatically to position food at the optimal distance from the heat source for browning, finishing, or rapid cooking.

Operation involves placing food items on the adjustable cooking grid positioned within the salamander. The grid can be moved up or down to control the cooking temperature and speed. A tray is located at the bottom of the unit to collect rendered fat and drippings, which can be removed for cleaning. The appliance is supported by feet.
