The LOTUS Mod SA-400 EM is a professional electric salamander grill. Salamander grills direct intense heat from above onto food placed on a rack. This method is suitable for browning, melting cheese, or finishing dishes quickly.

The SA-400 EM is open on the front, allowing easy access to the cooking area. The cooking grid can be adjusted manually or automatically to control the distance between the heat source and the food, influencing the cooking intensity and speed. A tray is fitted at the bottom of the unit to collect fat rendered from the food during the grilling process.

Construction is from CrNi 18/10 AISI 304 grade Stainless Steel, finished with a Scotch-Brite Satin polish and complemented by chromed details.
