An upright chiller keeps perishable food just above freezing by circulating cold air across every shelf. A compressor draws heat from the interior and expels it at the rear, while a fan spreads the chilled air evenly so that every gastronorm tray chills at the same rate. This ventilated cooling prevents warm spots and keeps stock safe without freezing it solid.

The operator loads gastronorm trays or loose items onto the three adjustable wire shelves, closes the self-closing door and sets the temperature between -2 °C and +8 °C. A lock secures the contents overnight. Strong wheels let the unit roll into position on a worktop or floor without lifting.

The cabinet is built from stainless steel with a reversible solid door. Three white wire shelves measuring 530 by 540 mm slide in and out on runners sized for GN2/1 trays. A ventilated cooling system maintains the set temperature throughout the 429 litre interior.

Controls consist of a thermostat that adjusts the temperature within the stated range. The 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply plugs into a standard single-phase circuit, drawing 0.255 kW under normal operation. The 127 kg weight is distributed on four wheels for easy movement, while the 680 by 700 mm footprint fits into most kitchen layouts without blocking aisles.

Cleaning follows from the materials: wipe the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, remove the wire shelves to wash separately, and keep the rear condenser free of dust to maintain airflow. The reversible door can be switched to open left or right as kitchen space requires.

The refrigerant is R600a, charged at 90 g.
