A refrigerated showcase keeps chilled goods visible and accessible while maintaining a set temperature range. The unit draws heat from the interior air using a refrigerant that circulates through a compressor and evaporator coil. As the refrigerant absorbs heat, it changes from liquid to gas, then is compressed and cooled back to liquid in the condenser, releasing the heat outside the cabinet. This cycle repeats continuously, pulling heat away from the shelves and products faster than ambient air could, ensuring consistent low temperatures even when the doors are opened frequently.

To use the showcase, the operator loads products onto the five black metal shelves. The shelves can be tilted and spaced to suit different package sizes, allowing maximum display capacity without overcrowding. Once loaded, the doors are closed and the unit is switched on. The digital controller, accessible via Bluetooth or NFC, sets the target temperature between -1 °C and +5 °C. Internal LED strips, arranged vertically and horizontally, illuminate the cabinet evenly, highlighting the products. The mirrored side panels reflect the light, reducing shadows and improving visibility. A clear acrylic front trim and price-tag holders keep the display tidy and organised.

The cabinet is built with 40 mm thick side panels, lined internally with mirrored stainless steel for durability and hygiene. The doors are hinged for easy access, and the entire unit stands on adjustable feet to level it on uneven floors. A variable-speed compressor adjusts its output to match the cooling demand, reducing energy use during quieter periods.

The 220-240 V power requirement means the unit connects to a standard single-phase circuit found in most professional kitchens and retail spaces. The 0.795 kW power rating indicates the load it places on the supply, which is moderate for its 821 litre net volume. The 258 kg weight requires two people or a trolley to move the unit safely, and the 1017 x 1005 mm footprint dictates the floor space it occupies. The temperature range of -1 °C to +5 °C suits fresh meats, dairy, prepared dishes and chilled beverages, but excludes frozen goods.

Cleaning involves wiping the black metal shelves and mirrored interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The acrylic front trim and price-tag holders can be removed for thorough cleaning. The LED lighting and stainless steel guards are sealed and require no maintenance beyond occasional dusting. The refrigerant R290 is pre-charged and sealed, so no top-up is needed.
