A refrigerated display cabinet keeps perishable food at safe holding temperatures while allowing clear visibility and easy access for service. The unit circulates chilled air evenly across every shelf, preventing hot spots that could spoil stock. A fan draws air over an evaporator coil, cooling it before distributing it through the cabinet. This dynamic airflow maintains a steady temperature throughout, whether the door is opened frequently or remains closed for longer periods.

To use the IGLOO OLA2 AG-GASTRO, load food onto the height-adjustable shelves, set the desired temperature on the electronic controller, and allow the cabinet to reach the target range. The digital display shows the current temperature, while an audible alarm sounds if the fan stops or the condenser becomes blocked. Automatic defrosting removes ice build-up without manual intervention, keeping the system running efficiently.

The cabinet is constructed with a stainless-steel exterior and interior, providing durability in a busy kitchen environment. Ten shelves offer 4.4 square metres of usable storage space, allowing organised placement of prepared dishes, desserts, or ingredients. The overall footprint measures 1400 mm wide, 870 mm deep, and 2035 mm high, including a 10 mm allowance for installation clearance.

An electronic temperature controller regulates the cooling cycle, with a settable range of +1 °C to +10 °C. The power consumption of 8.4 kWh per 24 hours reflects the load on the electrical supply, requiring a dedicated 230 V, 50 Hz circuit. The refrigerant options—R404a, R507, R448, or R449—determine the cooling efficiency and environmental compliance of the system.

Cleaning involves wiping down the interior and shelves with a mild detergent, while the condenser should be checked periodically for dust accumulation to maintain airflow. The automatic defrost function reduces manual maintenance, though the drain line should be inspected to prevent blockages.
