Refrigerated Display Cabinet IGLOO JO100.1/AG

A refrigerated cabinet maintains food at safe holding temperatures without freezing, using a sealed cooling circuit that circulates refrigerant through evaporator coils inside the cabinet. The refrigerant absorbs heat from the stored food and releases it outside, keeping the interior between +1 °C and +10 °C. This range slows bacterial growth while preserving texture and moisture in fresh produce, dairy, prepared dishes and chilled beverages.

The operator loads food onto the five adjustable shelves, which can be set at different heights and angles to fit trays, pans or taller containers. Once the door is closed, the automatic defrosting system periodically melts any frost that forms on the evaporator, draining the water away without manual intervention. A thermostat inside the cabinet cycles the compressor on and off to hold the set temperature.

The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel exterior panels and an aluminium interior liner, with polyurethane foam insulation between them. Shelves are chrome-plated wire for airflow and easy cleaning. The door has a magnetic seal and a lockable handle.

Controls consist of a thermostat dial that sets the target temperature within the +1 °C to +10 °C range. An interior light switches on when the door opens, and a high-temperature alarm sounds if the cabinet exceeds the safe limit.

A 230 V, 50 Hz power supply is required, drawing 4.9 kWh over 24 hours of continuous operation. The 120 kg weight means the unit is moved on a trolley or pallet jack, while the 820 mm width and 740 mm depth fit through standard kitchen doorways and under most worktops. The 2035 mm height allows storage of full-size gastronorm pans on the top shelf.

Cleaning involves wiping the interior and shelves with a mild detergent solution, removing and washing the drip tray beneath the evaporator, and vacuuming the condenser coils at the rear to maintain cooling efficiency.

The JOLA1 AG is a refrigerated cabinet without glass doors, designed for back-of-house storage in professional kitchens, bakeries and food-service operations.
