This pizza peel moves raw and cooked pizzas between surfaces and oven floors safely. The wide, flat head slips beneath the dough, while the extended handle protects the user from heat. Anodising protects the aluminium, stopping rust and simplifying cleaning after service.
The A-32R/150 model features a slender, bendable head that flexes under the pizza's weight, producing a scraping action along its ribbed front edge. This edge lifts the pizza smoothly without damaging the base. The oval tubular handle weighs less than solid versions but stays rigid, keeping the peel steady and preventing twisting when loaded.
To operate, dust the head with flour or semolina, slide it beneath the shaped pizza, lift and move the pizza into the oven, then pull the peel away sharply to leave the pizza on the oven floor. The same motion retrieves the pizza after baking. The handle's length lets the user reach deep into most commercial ovens without overreaching.
The head is made of anodised aluminium, offering a sleek, rust-resistant surface. The light blue handle shares the same anodised finish and oval shape, which stops it rolling on worktops. Ribbing beneath the head strengthens the scraper edge and stops the pizza from sticking.
The 33 cm square head fits standard pizza sizes, while the handle's length maintains a safe distance from the oven. The peel's lighter weight reduces strain during extended use, and the anodised coating shields the metal from acidic and damp toppings.
After each use, wipe the head and handle with a damp cloth to clear flour and debris. The anodised surface needs no special care, though abrasive pads should be avoided to maintain the finish.
