A self-service patisserie showcase keeps delicate pastries, cakes and desserts chilled while letting customers view and select items without opening the cabinet. The unit circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, maintaining a steady temperature that preserves texture and freshness. An internal fan draws warm air over an evaporator coil, where refrigerant absorbs the heat and carries it away. The cooled air is then redistributed, creating a consistent climate that prevents condensation on the glass and keeps the display crisp and inviting.

The operator loads the tempered glass shelves from the rear sliding door, arranging pastries so each item is clearly visible. LED strips above each shelf illuminate the display, casting even light that enhances colours and details. The electronic control unit sets the desired temperature between +4 °C and +8 °C, and the system automatically defrosts the evaporator coil at intervals, draining condensed water away without manual intervention. Customers slide the front door open to retrieve their chosen items, and the door seals shut to restore the chilled environment quickly.

The cabinet is constructed with a transparent double-glass front and rear sliding door, allowing a panoramic view of the contents. Tempered glass shelves support the weight of pastries while remaining easy to clean. An internal ventilation system ensures air circulates evenly, preventing hot spots and maintaining uniform cooling. The refrigerant R290 is used for its efficiency and lower environmental impact.

Controls include an electronic temperature setting that adjusts the cooling level within the specified range. The automatic defrosting and evaporation system eliminates the need for manual defrost cycles, reducing maintenance time. LED lighting is positioned above each shelf to highlight the display without generating excess heat.

A power rating of 0.790 kW indicates the load on the electrical circuit, suitable for a standard 230 V single-phase supply. The unit's footprint of 1490 mm wide, 735 mm deep and 1344 mm high determines the space it occupies on the shop floor, while its 259 kg weight requires a stable, level surface and may need two people or a trolley for movement.

Cleaning involves wiping the tempered glass shelves and interior surfaces with a mild detergent solution. The transparent double glass front and rear doors should be cleaned regularly to maintain visibility. The automatic defrosting system reduces ice build-up, but the drainage area should be checked periodically to ensure proper water flow. The ventilation system's air intake and outlet should be kept free of dust and debris to maintain efficient cooling.
