A refrigerated display cabinet keeps delicate desserts and confections at a steady chill while presenting them through clear glass. The unit draws heat out of the interior with a refrigeration circuit, circulating cool air evenly so that every shelf holds the same temperature. This preserves texture and freshness without freezing, allowing cakes, pastries and chocolates to remain on view for hours without spoiling or drying out.
The operator loads the shelves from the rear, sliding the tempered-glass door open to arrange trays of éclairs, macarons or petit fours. Once the door is closed, the electronic control unit maintains the set temperature between 4 °C and 8 °C. Automatic defrost cycles prevent ice build-up on the evaporator, so the cabinet never needs manual defrosting. An ambient temperature of 25 °C and 60% humidity is assumed for the stated performance.
The cabinet is built in stainless steel, giving a hygienic, easy-clean surface that resists fingerprints and smudges. Tempered glass on the front and sides ensures unbroken visibility of the products. Four adjustable legs allow the unit to sit level on uneven floors, and the rear sliding door saves space in tight shop layouts.
The 230 V, 50 Hz supply matches standard UK single-phase circuits, so the cabinet plugs into a typical commercial socket without special wiring. The 0.61 kW power rating indicates a modest electrical load, keeping running costs low. At 213 kg, the unit is heavy enough to stay stable on the floor but can still be moved with a pallet truck or two staff. The 1485 mm width provides ample shelf space for a full dessert counter, while the 736 mm depth fits neatly against a wall or worktop.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel exterior and glass with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The rear sliding door can be removed for thorough cleaning of the interior. Automatic defrosting eliminates the need to scrape ice, reducing daily upkeep.
The CUBE Jewelry 1500 INOX is designed for front-of-house use in bakeries, patisseries and cafés, where it forms part of the shop's refrigerated display range.
