Temperature mode +2 / +8°C SERVE OVER, Double glass
A refrigerated display showcase keeps chilled goods visible while maintaining a steady low temperature. The unit draws heat from the air inside through a refrigeration cycle, then expels it at the rear via a fan-driven condenser. The cooled air circulates continuously, ensuring every shelf stays within the set range without cold spots or excessive drying. Because the heat is removed rather than merely displaced, the showcase can hold temperature even when the surrounding air is warm and humid, making it suitable for busy retail spaces where doors open frequently or ambient conditions fluctuate.
The operator loads the shelves through the full-height front sliding glass panel, then sets the desired temperature on the electronic control unit. An automatic defrost cycle runs at intervals, melting any ice that forms on the evaporator coils and evaporating the condensate so no manual draining is needed. LED strips beneath each shelf illuminate the products, drawing attention without adding noticeable heat. The rear sliding doors allow restocking from the back without interrupting customer access at the front.
The showcase is built on a self-supporting plastic base clad in black panels. The front, sides and rear doors are double-glazed tempered glass, available in gold, grey or black. This construction minimises condensation on the glass, keeping the display clear. Ventilation cooling at the rear prevents overheating and ensures consistent performance.
The electronic control unit displays the current temperature and allows adjustment within the +4 to +8 °C range. A 0.62 kW power rating indicates the load the unit places on the electrical circuit. The 230 V/50 Hz voltage matches standard single-phase UK commercial supplies, so no special wiring is required. At 170 kg, the showcase is heavy enough to remain stable on the floor but can be moved with a pallet truck or trolley. Its 1000 mm width fits standard worktop depths and allows placement against a wall or island counter.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass panels and shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The front sliding panel opens fully for easy access to the interior. The automatic defrost and condensate evaporation system eliminates the need to empty drip trays or defrost coils manually.
Three variants are available, differing only in glass and front-panel colour: gold glass with a gold front panel, grey glass with a black front panel, and black glass with a black front panel.
