Mod. MFM-68EMX;
Support-flanged feet raise and level heavy catering appliances on uneven floors. A threaded rod screws into a metal flange, allowing the operator to turn each foot independently until the unit stands perfectly horizontal. This adjustment prevents rocking, reduces vibration and protects the worktop from stress fractures. The flange spreads the load across a wider area, stopping the foot from sinking into softer flooring materials.
To install the S-68X feet, the operator first positions the appliance at its intended location. Each foot is then screwed into the pre-drilled holes in the base until the flange makes contact with the frame. Using a spanner, the operator turns the threaded rod clockwise to raise the unit or anti-clockwise to lower it. A spirit level placed on the worktop confirms when the appliance is level. Once adjusted, the feet lock in place with a locking nut, preventing accidental movement during daily use.
The S-68X feet are constructed from plated steel for corrosion resistance in humid kitchen environments. The flange is welded to the threaded rod, ensuring a secure connection under heavy loads. Each foot supports a section of the appliance's weight, allowing the unit to be moved without straining the frame when the floor is uneven or sloped.
With an overall footprint of 800 mm by 485 mm, these feet are designed to fit equipment of corresponding width, providing a stable base for ovens, refrigeration units and preparation tables. The 570 mm height allows clearance beneath the appliance for cleaning and inspection, while still keeping the worktop at a comfortable working height.
Regular maintenance involves checking that the locking nuts remain tight and that the feet have not loosened due to vibration. If the appliance is relocated, the feet should be readjusted to suit the new floor surface. No specialised tools are required beyond a spanner and spirit level.
