Intended for CRPF1224 cold room
A modular shelf rack system organises ingredients, utensils and prepared dishes in a professional kitchen without fixed cupboards. Adjustable horizontal shelves create open storage that keeps items visible and accessible while maximising vertical space above the worktop. The design allows shelves to be added, removed or repositioned as workflow changes, eliminating wasted space and reducing the need for separate storage units.
The system relies on vertical uprights and horizontal crossbars to form a rigid frame. Each shelf rests on brackets that lock into the frame, distributing weight evenly across the structure. This method of support prevents sagging and ensures stability even when shelves are fully loaded. Because the shelves are open, air circulates freely around stored items, helping to maintain consistent temperatures and reduce condensation.
To use the system, the operator assembles the uprights and crossbars to the required height and width, then slides the brackets into the slots on the frame. Shelves are placed on the brackets and secured. Items are loaded directly onto the shelves, with heavier items positioned closer to the frame for better balance. The open design allows quick visual checks of stock levels and easy access during service.
The shelves and frame are constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning. The entire system is dishwasher-safe, allowing thorough sanitisation between uses. No additional coatings or treatments are required, simplifying maintenance.
Each shelf supports up to 90 kg, and the system can carry a total of 450 kg when fully configured with two shelves. This load capacity allows the storage of bulk ingredients, large containers and heavy equipment without risk of structural failure. The system's footprint remains compact, making it suitable for kitchens where floor space is limited.
Cleaning involves removing shelves from the frame and placing them in a commercial dishwasher. The frame itself can be wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser. Regular cleaning prevents the build-up of grease and food debris, maintaining hygiene standards and prolonging the life of the system.
The kit is designed for use in professional catering environments, including restaurants, hotels and institutional kitchens. It fits standardised kitchen layouts and can be integrated with existing storage solutions.
