Intended for CRNF1515 cold room
A shelf rack system organises ingredients, utensils and prepared dishes in a working kitchen by providing horizontal surfaces at adjustable heights. The vertical posts and horizontal rails create a framework that holds the shelves, distributing weight evenly across the structure. This method keeps items visible and accessible, reducing the time spent searching for supplies during service. The open design allows air to circulate, which helps maintain consistent temperatures for stored goods and prevents the build-up of moisture that can lead to spoilage or contamination.
The operator assembles the posts and rails to the required height, then slides each shelf into place on the supports. Once positioned, the shelves are loaded with containers, trays or loose items up to the stated capacity. The system can be expanded by adding more shelves or extended by joining additional units side by side, creating a continuous run of storage that fits the available space. When the kitchen layout changes, the shelves are unclipped, repositioned or removed without tools, allowing the rack to adapt to new workflows or storage needs.
The framework is constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, ensuring stability under the weight of fully loaded shelves. The shelves themselves are designed to be washed in a commercial dishwasher, allowing for thorough cleaning between uses. The maximum permissible load of 90 kg per shelf means the system can hold bulk ingredients, large containers or stacked trays without bending or warping, while the total capacity of 450 kg for two shelves provides ample storage for high-volume operations.
The kit includes all necessary components for a single unit, allowing the user to build a freestanding or wall-mounted rack according to the kitchen's requirements. The absence of fixed dimensions means the system can be tailored to fit under worktops, in cupboards or in dedicated storage areas, making it suitable for kitchens with limited floor space or irregular layouts.
Cleaning involves removing the shelves and running them through a dishwasher cycle, while the posts and rails can be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove dust or spills. The dishwasher-safe construction eliminates the need for manual scrubbing, saving time during daily or deep cleaning routines.
