A shelf rack system creates organised storage space by suspending flat surfaces at set heights within a rigid frame. The shelves bear the weight of ingredients, utensils or prepared dishes, while the vertical posts transfer the load to the floor. This arrangement keeps items visible and accessible, reducing the time spent searching for supplies during service.

The operator assembles the frame, positions the shelves at the required intervals, and secks the locking mechanism to secure each shelf. Items are placed directly on the shelves, and the weight is distributed evenly across the surface. When the shelf is full, the load remains stable as long as it does not exceed the stated capacity. The entire unit can be moved by lifting the frame from the base or by sliding it on castors if fitted.

The kit comprises a frame and shelves constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, allowing it to withstand the humidity and temperature changes of a professional kitchen. The surfaces are designed to be washed in a dishwasher, which removes food residue and sanitises the shelves between uses.

Each shelf supports a maximum load of 90 kg, enabling the storage of heavy containers, bulk ingredients or stacked dishes without deformation. The system is rated for a total load of 450 kg when two shelves are installed, making it suitable for high-volume storage needs.

Cleaning involves removing all items, detaching the shelves from the frame, and placing them in a commercial dishwasher. The frame can be wiped down with a damp cloth and sanitiser to maintain hygiene standards. Regular inspection of the locking mechanism ensures the shelves remain securely in place during use.
