Showcases for meat products MODENA 110 1080 mm
A refrigerated showcase keeps meat at safe display temperatures while presenting it to customers through clear glass. The unit removes heat from the storage chamber and expels it outside, maintaining a steady low temperature inside. Refrigerant R290 circulates through an evaporator, absorbing heat from the chamber and then releasing it through a condenser. This cycle continues automatically, ensuring the meat stays within the required temperature range without freezing or spoiling.
The MODENA110 SP is designed for countertop use, with a straight front glass that opens on vertical or bottom hinges. Meat is loaded onto the stainless steel worktop and stored in the stainless steel chamber below. The operator sets the desired temperature range—either +2 to +8 °C for gravity cooling or 0 to +6 °C for ventilated cooling—using the controls provided. A heater under the worktop and front glass prevents condensation, keeping the glass clear for visibility. The evaporator includes a built-in heater to defrost automatically, reducing manual maintenance.
The showcase measures 1080 mm wide, 1100 mm deep and 1250 mm high, fitting standard worktop depths while providing ample display space. The front is powder-coated steel, while the sides are ABS for durability and ease of cleaning. A grey bumper protects the base from impacts. The unit weighs 130 kg, requiring two people or a trolley for safe movement. A socket is included for plugging in the power supply.
Two cooling methods are available. Gravity cooling relies on natural air circulation, which is quieter and suitable for environments where airflow must be minimal. Ventilated cooling uses a fan to distribute cold air evenly, allowing for slightly lower temperatures and faster recovery after the door is opened. Both methods maintain consistent conditions for meat storage, with the choice depending on kitchen layout and operational needs.
The stainless steel worktop and storage chamber resist corrosion and are easy to sanitise. The front glass and bumper should be wiped daily to remove fingerprints and spills. The evaporator heater reduces frost build-up, but occasional manual defrosting may still be needed. The ABS sides and powder-coated steel front require only routine wiping with a damp cloth.
The MODENA110 SP is available in two versions: gravity-cooled (G) and ventilated (W). Both share the same dimensions, materials and construction, differing only in cooling method and temperature range.
