Showcases for meat products MODENA 110 1330 mm
A refrigerated showcase keeps meat products visible and chilled by circulating cold air around an enclosed display area. The unit draws heat from the food and expels it outside, maintaining a steady temperature while the front glass lets customers view the stock. Gravity cooling relies on natural convection: cold air sinks from the evaporator at the top, creating a gentle downward flow that covers the meat without drying it. Ventilated cooling uses a fan to push cold air evenly across every shelf, giving a slightly lower temperature range and faster recovery when the door is opened.
The operator loads the stainless steel storage chamber from the rear, then arranges the meat on the adjustable wire shelves behind the curved front glass. A socket on the side powers the internal lighting, which illuminates the display without adding heat. The heater under the worktop and front glass prevents condensation, keeping the glass clear and the bumper free from moisture. The temperature controller is set once for either gravity or ventilated mode, and the unit then holds the chosen range automatically.
The showcase is built on a powder-coated steel frame with a grey bumper that protects the front from trolleys and carts. ABS sides enclose the refrigeration components, while the worktop and storage chamber are stainless steel for hygiene and durability. The evaporator, located at the top, includes a heater to prevent frost build-up in corners where air circulation is weaker.
A footprint of 1330 by 1100 millimetres fits standard worktop runs in professional kitchens and butcher shops. The 150-kilogram weight requires two people to move the unit, and the fixed castors or levelling feet keep it stable once positioned. The temperature ranges of +2 to +8 °C for gravity cooling and 0 to +6 °C for ventilated cooling suit fresh meat storage, with the lower range extending shelf life for high-turnover displays.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel worktop and storage chamber with food-safe sanitiser, while the ABS sides and powder-coated steel front can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The evaporator heater reduces frost, but occasional defrosting may still be needed to maintain efficiency. The curved front glass should be cleaned with a non-abrasive glass cleaner to avoid scratches.
Two versions are available: gravity-cooled (G) and ventilated (W), each with the same external dimensions and materials. The unit is designed for meat products and is placed in the refrigerated display section of the catalogue.
