A refrigerated display that keeps fresh food visible and accessible across a 3.75 m frontage, the IGLOO Showcase JUMbo 3.75 Remote brings chilled storage and sales space together in one unit. Instead of a compressor inside the cabinet, the cooling system is housed remotely, cutting noise and heat at the point of sale while a refrigerant circulates through two evaporators to maintain an even temperature throughout the cabinet.

The principle is dynamic cooling: air is drawn over the evaporators, chilled, then pushed gently across the shelves and back again in a continuous loop. This steady airflow keeps every shelf within the set range without cold spots or warm zones, so products at the front and rear stay equally fresh. An automatic defrost cycle melts any ice that forms on the evaporators, draining the water away without manual intervention.

To load the showcase, the operator slides the telescopic glass panels open, places products on the stainless-steel shelves and closes the glass again. A digital regulator on the front panel sets the temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C, and the display confirms the current reading. LED lighting inside the cabinet illuminates the products; the colour can be chosen as white or pink to suit the store's branding. A night blind made of plexiglass rolls down over the glass when the store is closed, reducing energy use and protecting the contents.

The cabinet is built on a white-coated steel base with optional coloured front panels to match the store's decor. Silver or gold aluminium profiles frame the glass, and the work surface is stainless steel. Inside, the storage chamber is also stainless steel, with a hinged rear door for restocking from the back. The entire unit is designed to stand side by side with others of the same series, creating a continuous run without gaps.

A 3.33 kW power rating reflects the load on the electrical circuit, which must supply 230 V at 50 Hz. The footprint of 3750 mm long by 1205 mm deep fits into a standard retail floor plan, while the 1235 mm height allows customers to see products from a distance. The unit weighs enough to stay stable on the floor without anchoring, yet the base cladding can be removed for service access.

Cleaning follows from the materials: the stainless-steel shelves and interior wipe clean with a damp cloth, while the glass panels can be lifted out for thorough cleaning. The night blind should be wiped regularly to keep it clear and free of dust. The electronic regulator requires no maintenance beyond checking that the display remains legible and responsive.
