A refrigerated display case keeps fresh food visible and chilled by circulating cold air evenly across every shelf. The JUMBO 1.88 REMOTE uses two evaporators to pull heat from the storage chamber and push cooled air through the transparent front, maintaining a steady temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C. This dynamic cooling system prevents warm spots and condensation, so produce stays crisp and dairy stays firm without freezing.

The operator loads the thresholdless stainless-steel chamber from the rear hinged door, then arranges products on the stainless-steel shelves behind the telescopic glass. The front window lifts on an innovative mechanism, giving full access for restocking or cleaning. At night, a plexiglass blind slides down to insulate the display and reduce energy use. Inside, LED lighting—available in white or pink—illuminates the products without adding heat, while an electronic regulator with a digital display lets staff set and monitor the temperature.

The case is built on a white-coated steel base with optional coloured front panels from the IGLOO guide. Silver or gold aluminium profiles frame the glass, and the worktop is stainless steel. Ecological polyurethane foam fills the walls for insulation, and automatic electric heaters defrost the evaporators without manual intervention. The unit arrives without side panels, ready to be linked into a continuous run with other JUMBO cases.

A 1.82 kW power draw means the showcase requires its own dedicated 230 V circuit, sized to handle the load without tripping. The 1875 mm width fits into standard shop layouts, while the 1205 mm depth leaves room for customers to view products without crowding. The stainless-steel interior resists corrosion and wipes clean easily, and the telescopic glass slides smoothly for daily access. Night blinds reduce overnight energy consumption, and the LED lighting programme can be chosen to enhance product colours.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth, lifting the front glass to reach the shelves, and occasionally removing the rear door to clean the storage chamber. The automatic defrost cycle keeps the evaporators clear, so no manual scraping is needed. The unit is supplied in a single configuration, with optional front-panel colours and lighting colours as specified in the IGLOO guide. It is designed for multiplexing with other JUMBO cases, allowing stores to create continuous refrigerated runs.
