A refrigerated display case that keeps fresh products visible and chilled while maximising storage space for small to medium retail environments. The JUMBO 1.88 uses a closed-loop refrigeration cycle to draw heat away from the interior and expel it outside, maintaining a steady temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C. A refrigerant gas circulates through an internal unit, absorbing heat from the stored items and releasing it at the condenser, ensuring consistent cooling without frost build-up on the evaporators.

The operator loads products directly onto the stainless-steel shelves or into the non-threshold storage chamber behind hinged back doors. Once the unit is powered on, the electronic controller maintains the set temperature automatically, with defrost cycles triggered by timers or sensors to keep the evaporators clear. LED lighting illuminates the display area, and the front window can be raised using the innovative lifting system for easy access during stocking or cleaning. Night blinds made of plexiglass slide into place to reduce energy use when the shop is closed.

The body is constructed from coated white sheet metal with insulated plastic or glass side panels that can be selected in different colours. Anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver finish frame the display, while the worktop and storage chamber are made of stainless steel for durability and hygiene. The refrigeration system uses a low-noise Hitachi scroll compressor and two evaporators to distribute cold air evenly across the cabinet, preventing hot spots and ensuring uniform temperature throughout.

The 230 V, 50 Hz power supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit, drawing 14.0 kWh over 24 hours under typical operating conditions. The footprint of 1975 mm wide, 1205 mm deep and 1235 mm high (plus 10 mm clearance) fits into retail spaces without requiring additional storage, while the telescopic raised windows and transparent design maximise product visibility. Automatic condenser vaporisation eliminates the need for manual draining, and the digital display on the electronic controller allows staff to monitor and adjust the temperature as needed.

Cleaning involves wiping down the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the night blinds and front window can be removed for deeper cleaning. The LED lighting is long-lasting and does not require frequent replacement, and the automatic defrost system reduces maintenance compared to manual defrost models.

The JUMBO 1.88 is available with optional side panel colours, aluminium profile finishes, and LED lighting colours (white confectionery or pink). The unit is designed for shops that need to display fresh products while keeping them chilled, with a focus on maximising storage and visibility in a compact footprint.
