Showcase JUMBO REMOTE 1250 mm. Temperature range +2ºC/+8ºC
A refrigerated display case keeps fresh food visible while maintaining a steady chill. The unit draws heat from the stored items and expels it at the rear, using a refrigerant that circulates through evaporator coils. Two separate evaporators create dynamic cooling: one cools the display area where customers see the food, and the other cools the storage chamber behind. This split system prevents warm air from entering when the front glass is opened, so the temperature stays even and the food stays safe.
The operator loads the display shelves from the front, sliding the telescopic glass upwards to reach the entire width. The storage chamber below holds backup stock; its hinged rear door opens for restocking without disturbing the display. A stainless-steel worktop above the glass provides a stable surface for labelling or brief tasks. The night blind, a clear plexiglass panel, slides down to cover the glass when the shop closes, reducing energy use and protecting the contents.
The case is built as a modular unit without side panels, ready to be linked side-by-side with identical units to form a continuous run. The outer shell is white-coated sheet metal, while the interior—display area, storage chamber and worktop—is stainless steel. Aluminium profiles in silver or gold trim the edges, and the insulation is ecological polyurethane foam. An automatic defrost system uses electric heaters to melt ice from the evaporator coils, keeping the cooling efficient without manual intervention.
Controls are simple: an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display sets the desired chill between +2 °C and +8 °C. LED lighting inside the case illuminates the food, with options for white or pink light to enhance the appearance of different products. The entire unit runs on a 230 V single-phase supply, drawing 1.35 kW, which is typical for a counter of this size in a small or medium store.
The footprint of 1250 mm by 1205 mm gives a large display area without taking extra floor space, and the height of 1235 mm keeps the food at eye level for customers. The weight of the unit means it is moved on castors or a trolley, and the smooth stainless-steel surfaces allow quick cleaning with standard kitchen sanitiser. The night blind and the front glass should be wiped daily to keep the display clear, and the storage chamber should be emptied and cleaned weekly to prevent odours.
The JUMBO 1.25 REMOTE is part of the JUMBO series, designed for stores that need maximum display capacity in a compact footprint. It is supplied without side panels for multiplexing, allowing several units to be joined seamlessly.
