Cold showcase LUZON DEEP REMOTE 3125 mm. Temperature range +1ºC/+10ºC
A refrigerated display case keeps perishable goods at a steady low temperature while presenting them to customers through clear glass. The LUZON DEEP 3.13 uses dynamic cooling: a fan circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing warm spots and maintaining the set temperature range without fluctuations. This method is essential for self-service counters where the door is opened frequently, as it quickly restores the correct climate once the door closes.
The showcase is powered by an external remote aggregate, which means the compressor and condenser sit outside the unit. This arrangement reduces noise and heat inside the shop, keeps the footprint of the display itself compact, and allows the aggregate to be placed where it is easiest to service. The case is loaded from the rear through a hinged door, while customers view and select items through the straight front glass. An LED lamp illuminates the interior, highlighting the products without adding heat.
Operation begins by connecting the external aggregate and plugging the showcase into a 230 V single-phase supply. The electronic regulator is set to the desired temperature between +1 °C and +10 °C; the digital display shows the current reading. Once the temperature stabilises, the storage chamber is stocked through the rear door. The front glass can be opened slightly for cleaning or rearrangement, but remains closed during service to maintain the cold environment. Automatic defrost cycles remove ice build-up without manual intervention, ensuring consistent performance.
The structure is built around anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver, chosen from the IGLOO pattern book. The external cladding is white coated sheet metal, with optional coloured front panels and base sheets. The work surface is stainless steel, providing a durable and hygienic area for additional preparation or ticketing. The exhibition area and storage chamber are both made of white coated steel, while the insulation is ecological polyurethane foam. Bumpers in various colours protect the edges and can be matched to the shop's decor.
Controls consist of an electronic temperature regulator with a digital display. This unit sets and monitors the internal temperature, triggering the cooling cycle and defrost as needed. The LED lamp has three optional colour settings: white for general use, pastry for bakery items, and deep pink for meat, each enhancing the visual appeal of the products.
The 3125 mm width, 1180 mm depth and 1220 mm height (plus 10 mm tolerance) give a generous display area while allowing the case to be integrated into modular lines. The design includes internal and external corner pieces, so multiple units can be joined to form continuous runs that adapt to the shape of the premises. The voltage requirement of 230 V matches the standard single-phase circuit found in professional kitchens and retail spaces, avoiding the need for special wiring.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel work surface and coated steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The front glass can be opened slightly for access, and the LED lamp is removed for cleaning if necessary. The anodised aluminium profiles and bumpers are wiped down to maintain appearance. The external aggregate requires periodic checks by a technician, but the display case itself has no moving parts that need regular maintenance beyond cleaning.
Variants include optional coloured front panels and base sheets, gold or silver aluminium profiles, and three LED lamp colours. The refrigerant can be R404a, R507, R448 or R449, chosen at installation to suit local regulations and efficiency requirements.
The LUZON DEEP 3.13 is catalogued under refrigerated display cases for self-service counters, where dynamic cooling and modular construction are key requirements.
