A refrigerated display case keeps perishable goods at a steady low temperature while presenting them through clear glass for self-service sales. The LUZON DEEP 2.50 uses a dynamic cooling system: a fan circulates cold air evenly across the entire storage chamber, preventing warm spots and ensuring every shelf holds food at the same safe temperature. This method is faster and more consistent than static cooling, which relies on natural air movement alone.

To load the case, the operator opens the hinged back doors of the storage chamber and places products on the white-coated steel shelves. The straight front glass pane can be slightly opened for quick access from the customer side. Once loaded, the electronic temperature controller is set between +1 °C and +10 °C, depending on the food type. The digital display shows the current temperature, and an automatic defrost cycle prevents ice build-up without manual intervention. LED lamps illuminate the display area, with options for white, confectionery or pink lighting to enhance product appearance.

The case is built with a white-coated steel body and storage chamber, insulated with ecological polyurethane foam. The worktop is stainless steel, and anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver frame the glass front. A bumper in various colours protects the base, and a service-side flashing covers the cooling aggregate. The condenser outlet directs warm air into a container, reducing heat in the sales area. An alarm sounds if the condenser becomes clogged or the fan fails, alerting staff to maintenance needs.

The 2580 mm length provides ample display space for meats, cheeses, fish and other chilled products. The 230 V, 50 Hz power requirement matches standard UK commercial circuits. The modular design allows corner units to be added, creating continuous lines tailored to the shop layout. Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel worktop, coated steel surfaces and glass pane with a damp cloth, while the condenser and fan should be checked periodically for dust accumulation.
