A refrigerated display showcase keeps perishable goods at a steady chill while presenting them through clear glass. The unit draws heat from the interior with a cooling circuit that circulates refrigerant gas. As the gas evaporates inside the evaporator coil, it absorbs heat from the air, lowering the temperature inside the cabinet. A compressor then pressurises the gas, raising its temperature so it can release the collected heat through the condenser coil at the back or underneath. The cooled gas is cycled back, maintaining the set temperature range without freezing the products on display.

The LUZON 1.25 is designed for self-service sales. The operator loads the stainless steel exposition area with meats, cheeses, fish or other chilled items, then sets the electronic temperature controller to the desired value between +1 °C and +10 °C. The digital display shows the current temperature, and an automatic defrost cycle prevents ice build-up on the evaporator. LED lamps illuminate the interior, with a choice of white, confectionery or pink lighting to suit the products. The straight front glass pane can be slightly opened for cleaning or restocking, while the hinged back doors of the storage chamber allow access from the service side.

The body is constructed from white coated sheet metal with anodised aluminium profiles in gold or silver. The worktop and exposition area are stainless steel, and the storage chamber is made of white coated steel. Insulated plastic sides and optional glass sides enclose the unit, while a bumper in a selectable colour protects the front. Ecological polyurethane foam insulation reduces heat transfer, and the static cooling system circulates chilled air gently to avoid drying out the displayed goods.

The showcase measures 1330 mm in length, 1180 mm in width and 1230 mm in height, with an additional 10 mm tolerance. It operates on a 230 V, 50 Hz supply, drawing 4.32 kWh over 24 hours. The voltage requirement matches a standard single-phase circuit, allowing the unit to be installed in most professional kitchens or retail spaces without additional electrical work. The daily energy consumption indicates the load on the premises' power supply, helping to plan usage alongside other equipment.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the glass pane and hinged doors can be cleaned with glass cleaner. The LED lamps require no maintenance beyond occasional dusting, and the automatic defrost system eliminates the need for manual defrosting. The condenser outlet directs moisture to a container, which should be emptied regularly to prevent overflow.

The LUZON 1.25 is part of the LUZON series, which includes internal and external corner units for building continuous lines of showcases. The colour of the body, bumper and LED lighting can be selected to match the premises' decor, and the glass sides are available in different tints.
