A magnetic strip holds metal kitchen tools within reach on a worktop or wall, keeping blades and utensils off counters and organised. The strip creates a strong magnetic field along its length, allowing knives, scissors, whisks and other ferrous tools to be attached without clips or shelves. Hooks spaced along the strip provide additional points for hanging items that do not stick to magnets, such as ladles, tongs or small pans.
The operator mounts the strip horizontally or vertically on a wall, backsplash or underside of a cupboard, using screws or adhesive pads. Knives and tools are placed directly onto the magnetic surface, where they remain securely in position until removed. Hooks are used for non-magnetic items, which are hung by their handles or loops. The strip keeps tools visible, accessible and separated, reducing clutter and the risk of damage to blades or handles.
This model is a single aluminium rail 600 mm long, with integrated hooks. The magnetic field runs the full length of the strip, providing consistent holding power. The aluminium construction resists corrosion and is lightweight enough for easy installation.
The 60 cm length suits a section of wall or worktop where a small number of frequently used tools are stored. It fits between standard cupboard widths or above a hob, tap or prep area, keeping essential tools within arm's reach during service.
Cleaning involves wiping the strip and hooks with a damp cloth to remove dust or grease. The magnetic surface should not be scratched, as this can weaken the field. Tools should be dried before being placed back on the strip to prevent moisture from collecting on the aluminium.
The strip is supplied as a single unit with no variants or additional parts.
