Ice cream freezer with curved glass 155 liters. Temperature range -24 to -14 °C
An ice cream freezer holds product at sub-zero temperatures by circulating refrigerant through a sealed system. The refrigerant absorbs heat from the cabinet and releases it outside, lowering the internal temperature below the freezing point of water. This steady cold keeps ice cream firm enough for scooping while preventing ice crystals from forming and coarsening the texture over time.
The operator loads plastic tubs of ice cream into the cabinet, slides the flat glass lids closed and locks them. LED lighting illuminates the contents, and the curved glass sneeze guard protects the display from airborne particles. Castors allow the unit to be moved into position, then locked in place with brakes. Integrated storage beneath the baskets holds scoops, napkins or small utensils. When the temperature is set between -24 °C and -14 °C, the freezer maintains the chosen level automatically.
The cabinet is constructed with a curved glass sneeze guard at the front and flat sliding glass lids on top. The interior is lit by LED lighting, and the exterior is fitted with castors that have brakes. Storage space is integrated beneath the baskets, and the unit is rated Climate Class 5 for operation in high ambient temperatures.
Controls consist of a thermostat that sets the temperature within the stated range. The sliding glass lids lock to secure the contents.
A 155 litre net volume provides space for multiple tubs of ice cream, while the 84 kg weight allows the unit to be moved by two people. The 720 mm width, 630 mm depth and 1250 mm height determine the floor space and clearance required. A 220-240 V, 50 Hz electrical supply is needed, drawing 0.02 kW during operation. The refrigerant is R600a, charged at 55 g.
Cleaning involves wiping the glass lids and sneeze guard with a damp cloth, removing and washing the optional scooping baskets, and vacuuming the condenser coil at the rear to maintain airflow. The castors should be checked periodically for smooth movement and the brakes for secure locking.
An optional accessory is the scooping basket designed for plastic tubs.
The product is listed under professional refrigeration for ice cream display and storage.
