Professional heated display case with sliding doors, a heated glass-ceramic base and 1 shelf, designed for displaying hot food and maintaining it at an optimal temperature. The unit is equipped with overhead halogen heating and lighting, as well as individually adjustable temperature control.
A heated display case keeps plated dishes at serving temperature while presenting them to customers. The unit uses concealed heating elements beneath a ceramic-glass base and shelf to create an even, radiant heat. Halogen lamps above the glass provide both illumination and additional warmth, ensuring food stays at the correct temperature without drying out. The closed front protects the display from draughts and contamination, while sliding doors on the service side allow staff to replenish or swap trays quickly during service.
The operator loads up to four GN1/1 gastronorm trays onto the ceramic-glass shelf. Two digital thermostats, each with its own display, let the chef set separate temperatures for the base and the shelf. The control panel is mounted on a 1 m cable, so it can be positioned under the counter for a tidy worktop. Once the desired temperature is reached, the case maintains it automatically, allowing continuous service without reheating delays.
The case is built from stainless steel with a satin finish. The base and shelf are 4 mm ceramic glass, chosen for its thermal stability and impact resistance. The side panels are 8 mm toughened glass, offering clear visibility while protecting against accidental knocks.
Controls consist of two electronic thermostats with digital readouts. One thermostat governs the ceramic-glass base, the other the shelf. The temperature range of +30 °C to +100 °C covers holding for most hot dishes, from sauces to roasted meats. The 2.71 kW power rating indicates the load on the electrical supply; the unit requires a 220-240 V 3-phase circuit. The 101 kg weight means the case is moved with a trolley or two people, and the 1440 mm width determines the linear space it occupies on the counter.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel frame and glass panels with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The ceramic-glass base and shelf can be cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner once cooled. The sliding doors should be removed periodically to clean the tracks. The halogen lamps are protected but should be replaced if they fail, using the same wattage to maintain consistent heat and light levels.
This model is designed for built-in installation in a worktop. The service side has sliding doors; the customer side is closed.
