A top-loading bar refrigerator keeps bottles and drinks chilled from above, letting staff reach stock without bending or opening doors at the front. Cold air settles naturally inside the cabinet, so a static cooling system circulates it without forced fans. The evaporator coils pull heat from the air, lowering the temperature to the set range and holding it there while the insulated walls slow heat gain from the room.

To use the refrigerator, slide the stainless-steel top doors open, load bottles onto the vertical wire shelves, and close the doors. Set the analogue thermostat to the desired temperature between +2 °C and +6 °C; the system maintains that level automatically. The front ventilation grille draws in room air, passes it over the condenser, and expels it again, so the unit can be built into cabinetry without overheating.

The cabinet is built entirely of stainless steel, inside and out, with rounded internal corners for easy cleaning. High-density polyurethane insulation, free of CFCs, fills the walls to reduce cold loss. Inside, adjustable wire dividers organise bottles upright, while a drain at the base collects condensation for hygienic removal. The front panel clips off to expose the compressor and evaporator for servicing.

The 381 L volume provides space for bulk storage in bars, cafés and restaurants. The 0.292 kW power rating indicates the load on the electrical circuit. A voltage of 220-240 V single-phase 50 Hz matches standard UK commercial supplies. The 82 kg weight means two people can move the unit, and the 1504 mm width fits through most service doors. Adjustable stainless-steel legs raise the cabinet from 65 mm to 88 mm to level it on uneven floors.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth, removing the wire shelves to wash them separately, and clearing the drain outlet to prevent blockages. The front grille should be vacuumed regularly to keep airflow unobstructed.
