Professional heated display case with sliding doors, a heated glass-ceramic base and 2 shelves, designed for displaying hot food and maintaining it at an optimal temperature. The unit is equipped with overhead halogen heating and lighting, as well as individually adjustable temperature control.
A heated display case keeps plated dishes at serving temperature while presenting them to customers. The unit uses concealed silicone heating elements beneath ceramic-glass shelves to spread heat evenly across the entire surface. Halogen lamps above the shelves provide both illumination and additional radiant warmth, maintaining food at the correct temperature and enhancing its visual appeal.
To operate, the chef loads up to four GN1/1 gastronorm trays onto the two ceramic-glass shelves. The three digital thermostats are set independently: one for the lower shelf, one for the upper shelf, and one for the overhead halogen zone. Once the desired temperatures are programmed, the elements warm the shelves and lamps from below and above. The client side remains open for easy access, while the service side has sliding glass doors that allow staff to replenish or swap trays without disturbing the display.
The case is built from stainless steel with a brushed finish. The base and shelves are 4 mm thick ceramic glass, while the side panels are 8 mm tempered glass for durability and visibility. A 13 mm overhanging rim sits above the worktop after installation, creating a seamless edge.
Controls consist of three digital thermostats with displays, each regulating one heating zone. A 1 m control cable lets the panel be mounted separately, such as inside a cupboard beneath the unit.
The 380-415 V 3-phase supply is typical for commercial catering equipment and requires a dedicated circuit. The 101 kg weight means the case must be positioned on a sturdy worktop or counter. The 1440 mm width and 720 mm depth define the footprint needed on the serving line.
Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic-glass shelves and stainless-steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The tempered-glass side panels can be cleaned with glass cleaner. The sliding doors should be removed periodically to clean the tracks.
The model DDHVC7-S-3-4 is designed for built-in installation on a worktop or counter.
