Professional heated display case with sliding doors, a heated glass-ceramic base and 2 shelves, designed for displaying hot food and maintaining it at an optimal temperature. The unit is equipped with overhead halogen heating and lighting, as well as individually adjustable temperature control.
A heated display case keeps plated dishes at serving temperature while presenting them to customers. The unit uses concealed heating elements beneath a ceramic-glass worktop and shelf to radiate warmth evenly across the entire surface. Halogen lamps above the glass provide both illumination and additional top heat, helping to maintain the food's appearance and temperature without drying it out. The combination of base and overhead heating creates a stable environment that extends the holding time for hot items without overcooking or cooling them unevenly.
The operator loads the two glass shelves from the service side, where sliding doors glide open for easy access. Customers reach in from the open front to select dishes without obstruction. Once the shelves are stocked, the operator sets the three digital thermostats—one for the base, one for the shelf and one for the overhead lamps—using the separate control panel mounted on a 1 m cable. The panel can be placed in a cupboard beneath the worktop, keeping the workspace tidy while allowing continuous monitoring of the display temperature.
The case is built from stainless steel with a satin finish. The base and shelf are 4 mm thick ceramic glass, chosen for its ability to withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles. Side panels are 8 mm tempered glass, providing clear visibility and added safety during daily use. The entire unit is designed for flush installation into a worktop, leaving a 13 mm overhang that creates a seamless, easy-to-clean edge around the perimeter.
Controls consist of three digital thermostats, each with its own display. The first regulates the ceramic-glass base, the second the ceramic-glass shelf and the third the halogen lamps above. The 3.62 kW power rating indicates the load the unit will place on the electrical circuit, requiring a dedicated 220-240 V single-phase supply. The temperature range of +30 °C to +100 °C allows the case to hold everything from delicate sauces to roasted meats without risk of spoilage or overcooking. The 96 kg weight means the unit must be moved with a trolley or two people during installation, and the 1115 x 720 mm footprint determines the space it will occupy on the worktop or counter.
Cleaning involves wiping the ceramic-glass surfaces with a damp cloth after each service to remove food debris. The stainless-steel frame and satin finish resist fingerprints and are cleaned with a mild detergent. Tempered glass side panels are wiped down daily to maintain visibility. The separate control panel should be kept dry and dust-free to ensure accurate temperature readings.
The DDHVC7-S-3-3 is a built-in model designed for seamless integration into a professional kitchen worktop. Its 3 GN1/1 capacity provides space for three full-size gastronorm trays, making it suitable for buffets, grab-and-go counters or pass-through service stations.
