This Stalgast electric stove, article 979600, features six induction heating zones. Induction hobs heat cookware directly using an electromagnetic field. When a compatible pan is placed on a zone, an electrical current is induced in the pan's base, generating heat efficiently. Each induction zone measures 225 mm in diameter and has a power output of 3.5 kW. The total power consumption for the unit is 15.6 kW.

Operation is managed via ergonomic knobs, allowing precise control over each zone. Power can be adjusted across nine different levels. The stove includes a cookware detection system, activating heating zones only when suitable cookware is present. A remaining heat indicator alerts the user when a surface is still hot. The design permits cooking with larger-diameter cookware, even on units without an exhaust system.
