Display case IGLOO TB360

A refrigerated display case keeps chilled air circulating around food to hold it at safe serving temperatures while letting customers see and reach the products. The external refrigeration unit draws heat out of the showcase and expels it outside, so the internal space stays cool without adding warmth or noise to the sales area. A fan inside the case moves the cold air evenly across every shelf, preventing hot spots and keeping all items at the same temperature. This dynamic cooling method also helps food recover quickly after the doors are opened or new stock is added, maintaining consistent chill throughout the day.

To use the showcase, first connect the external unit to the main body and plug the system into a 230 V supply. Load the adjustable coated-steel shelves with products, setting each shelf at the desired height and angle for best display. Switch on the electronic temperature regulator and set the target between +1 °C and +10 °C; the digital display shows the current reading. The LED lighting automatically adjusts its power factor to keep illumination bright without overloading the circuit. When the case is closed for the night, pull down the roller blind to cover the glass and reduce energy use.

The showcase measures 2500 mm wide, 950 mm deep and 1515 mm high, giving a large display area on a compact footprint. The 230 V single-phase connection suits standard commercial circuits, while the temperature range of +1 to +10 °C covers chilled ready-to-eat foods, dairy and deli items. The unit's weight and the stainless-steel plinth with floor seal make it stable on most shop floors, and the siphoned condensate drain with a 40 mm pipe prevents water pooling.

Construction uses white coated steel for the base and front panels, with colour options available for the front bottom panel and price-sheet holders. The interior and shelves are also coated steel, and the insulation is ecological polyurethane foam. A mechanical expansion valve controls refrigerant flow, and the system is compatible with several refrigerants including R448 A, R449 A, R450 A, R134 A, R407F, R404 A, R507 and R290.

Controls include an electronic temperature regulator with digital display for setting and monitoring the chill level, and the LED lighting system with automatic power-factor compensation. Shelves adjust in height and angle to fit different product sizes, and the night roller blind provides security and energy savings when the shop is closed.

Cleaning involves wiping the coated-steel interior and shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and checking that the condensate drain remains clear. The external unit requires periodic inspection by a technician to ensure refrigerant levels and airflow are correct.
