Showcase cooler 36.4 l. GN containers not included.
A static-cooled display cabinet holds chilled food at serving temperature while keeping it visible and accessible. The refrigeration unit circulates cold air inside the sealed compartment, removing heat from the pans without a fan. This method avoids drying the food and reduces frost build-up, so items stay fresh longer under the lid.
The operator loads up to seven GN1/4 gastronorm pans into the stainless steel cavity, sets the digital controller to the desired temperature between +2 °C and +8 °C, and closes the hinged lid. The display shows the actual temperature, allowing the kitchen to monitor conditions without opening the cabinet. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, ensuring the lid seals properly.
The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel inside and out, including the lid. A static evaporator coil runs along the back wall, cooling the air that settles around the pans. The refrigerant circuit uses R600a, a hydrocarbon with low environmental impact.
The digital controller allows precise temperature selection within the +2 °C to +8 °C range. The display updates continuously, giving the operator real-time feedback on the internal climate.
A capacity of seven GN1/4 pans provides enough space for a full service of pre-plated dishes or buffet items. The 1600 mm width fits standard worktop runs, while the 30 kg weight allows two staff to reposition the unit without specialist equipment. The 220-240 V single-phase supply plugs into a standard UK kitchen circuit.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel interior and lid with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The static cooling system has no fan or filters, so maintenance is limited to occasional defrosting when frost becomes visible on the evaporator coil.
The GVC33-160 S/S is a single model with no variants. It accepts GN1/4 pans only and is designed for countertop display in professional kitchens and food service areas.
