A refrigerating chamber maintains precise low temperatures to preserve perishable goods without freezing them. The unit circulates refrigerant through concealed coils, absorbing heat from the interior and expelling it outside. This continuous cycle keeps the air inside at a steady 0 to +8 °C, slowing bacterial growth and extending the shelf life of fresh produce, dairy and beverages. Hot-gas defrost automatically melts any frost that forms on the coils, eliminating manual scraping and ensuring consistent cooling performance.
Assembly begins with interlocking modular panels that snap together without cutting or drilling. The cooling system is pre-installed inside one panel, so no specialist refrigeration knowledge is required. Once the chamber is assembled, the operator sets the desired temperature on the control panel. The unit then starts the refrigeration cycle, pulling heat from the interior until the set point is reached. Shelves, sold separately, can be positioned at any height to organise stock. An anti-slip stainless-steel floor provides a durable, hygienic surface that resists spills and supports trolleys.
The chamber measures 1500 mm wide, 1800 mm deep and 2200 mm high, creating a 4.48 m³ storage volume. Its 284 kg weight means it is moved on a pallet truck or forklift before assembly. The 1.865 kW power rating indicates the load it places on the electrical supply, requiring a dedicated 220-240 V circuit. Insulated 80 mm panels minimise heat transfer, reducing energy consumption while maintaining the internal temperature.
Cleaning involves wiping the interior surfaces with a mild detergent, focusing on the stainless-steel floor to remove spills. The hot-gas defrost system prevents ice build-up, so no manual defrosting is needed. Shelves can be removed for thorough cleaning, and the modular panels allow individual sections to be replaced if damaged.
The chamber is available in three widths—1500 mm, 1800 mm and 2200 mm—while maintaining the same depth and height. Doors and panels are interchangeable, allowing the layout to be reconfigured as storage needs change. It is categorised as professional refrigeration equipment for restaurants, cafés and similar food-service environments.
