A professional espresso machine extracts flavour by forcing hot, pressurised water through finely-ground coffee. The CREMINTERNATIONAL EX3 2 Group model heats water in a pressurised boiler, then pumps it at controlled pressure through dual brew groups. Each group has its own pre-infusion chamber that wets the coffee evenly before full pressure is applied, releasing aroma and balancing acidity and sweetness. The machine also generates steam in the same boiler, allowing baristas to texture milk for cappuccinos and lattes without waiting.
The operator places a portafilter filled with coffee into one of the two groups, selects the desired shot volume, and starts extraction. A PID-controlled display shows boiler temperature and shot count, letting the barista adjust temperature in small increments for different beans. While espresso flows, the separate hot-water spout can dispense water for tea or pre-heat cups, and the steam wand textures milk. Cool-Touch technology keeps the wand's exterior cool, reducing burn risk and simplifying cleaning. An automatic group-cleaning cycle flushes the brew groups at the end of service, removing coffee oils and maintaining hygiene.
The machine's body is constructed from stainless steel and coloured panels, with a choice of wood-look or brushed stainless-steel covers. Portafilters, knobs and levers are available in white, black or wood-look finishes. Brew groups can be set at different heights to accommodate standard cups or taller take-away vessels. A pressure gauge on each group lets the operator monitor extraction pressure, while barista lights illuminate the work area.
Controls include a PID temperature display, shot counter, and rotary knobs for steam and hot water. The machine is powered by a rotational water pump that maintains stable pressure even during high demand, and an 11.5-litre boiler provides sufficient capacity for simultaneous espresso, steam and hot-water delivery. A 3.35 kW heating element ensures rapid heat-up and consistent performance during peak service.
The 230 V single-phase connection allows installation on standard commercial circuits without requiring three-phase supply. At 62 kg, the machine is heavy enough to remain stable on a worktop but can be moved with a trolley. Its footprint of 770 mm wide, 575 mm deep and 465 mm high fits most professional coffee stations while leaving space for grinders and accessories.
Daily maintenance involves back-flushing the brew groups with cleaning tablets, wiping the steam wand after each use, and descaling the boiler periodically. The stainless-steel surfaces and removable drip tray simplify cleaning, while the automatic cleaning cycle reduces manual effort.
The EX3 2 Group is available in Standard or TA (Take-Away) versions, with single or double pressure gauges, and a wide range of exterior colours and materials to match kitchen decor. It is positioned in the professional coffee-equipment section of the catalogue, designed for medium-volume cafés, restaurants and hotels.
