The CREMINTERNATIONAL EX3 2 gr Control is a professional coffee machine, article CCLNA4SCRAPN.

This type of coffee machine operates by heating water to brew coffee. Water is drawn from a reservoir or mains supply and heated in a boiler. The heated water is then forced under pressure through finely ground coffee held in a portafilter, which is attached to a brewing group. Steam is also generated in the boiler for frothing milk. The EX3 2 gr Control features 2 brewing groups, each with an integrated pre-infusion chamber to wet the coffee grounds evenly before full pressure is applied, aiding extraction. It uses a rotational water pump to deliver water and steam at consistent pressure. A separate hot water spout is provided for other beverages. The steam wand incorporates Cool Touch technology to reduce the risk of burns.

Operation involves loading coffee into the portafilters, attaching them to the brewing groups, and initiating the brew cycle. The machine has a 11.5-litre boiler. Boiler pressure is regulated between 0.8 and 1.1 bar. The machine is controlled via control knobs or a display with PID control for precise temperature management. An automatic group cleaning cycle is integrated to assist with daily upkeep. Barista lights illuminate the work area. Different brew group heights are available to accommodate standard or tall 'take away' cups. A standard or double pressure gauge can be fitted. The machine offers an energy-saving ECO mode to reduce power consumption when not in active use. Noise emission is below 70 dB.

The machine connects to a standard single-phase power supply of 230 V, consuming 3350 W. Its dimensions are 770 mm in length, 575 mm in width, and 465 mm in height, with a weight of 62 kg.

Available configurations include Standard or TA (Tall Cup) versions. The portafilters, knobs, and levers can be specified in white, black, or wood finishes. The main body housing is available in various colours and stainless steel, with a choice of wood look or brushed stainless steel for the body cover.

This machine is listed in the catalogue for the EX3 CREM EXPOBAR range.
