A supermarket freezer maintains frozen and chilled goods at precise temperatures by circulating cold air across every shelf. A compressor draws heat from the interior and expels it through a condenser coil, while a fan spreads the cold evenly. The sliding lids reduce warm-air intrusion, so the compressor cycles less often and energy use stays lower.

The operator loads the ten wire baskets with product, sets the desired mode—freezing between -15 °C and -24 °C or cooling between +2 °C and +7 °C—on the digital control panel, and closes the curved transparent lids. LED lighting illuminates the contents, and the digital thermometer confirms the temperature. Two braked wheels at the front lock the unit in place once it is positioned.

The cabinet is built with a coated white steel inner liner and dark-grey exterior panels. Curved transparent sliding lids run on aluminium tracks, and the lids are fitted with durable aluminium handles. A total of six wheels—two with brakes—allow the unit to be moved across the shop floor and then secured.

The 220-240 V, 50 Hz supply connects to a standard single-phase circuit found in most commercial premises. The 690 L volume provides space for approximately ten wire baskets, each fitted with two dividers for organised storage. A weight of 140 kg means the freezer is moved by trolley or pallet jack rather than lifted by hand.

The inner liner and wire baskets wipe clean with a damp cloth; the coated finish resists staining. The transparent lids are cleaned with a mild detergent to maintain visibility. The condenser coil at the rear should be vacuumed periodically to remove dust and maintain airflow.

A variant model, SIF600 °C, is available for island installations where end panels are required.
