A ventilated cooling system circulates chilled air evenly across every shelf, keeping bottled and canned goods at a steady 0 to 8 °C without frost or hot spots. The fan draws warm air over an evaporator coil charged with R290a refrigerant, pulling heat out of the cabinet and expelling it through a grille at the rear. Condensate drips into a tray beneath the coil, where the waste heat of the compressor evaporates it automatically, so no manual draining is needed.

The operator loads up to 15 wire shelves, adjusting each shelf's height to fit tall bottles or shallow trays. Three hinged doors swing open to reveal the contents; a self-closing mechanism pulls each door shut after a few seconds, cutting cold loss. Locks on each door secure the stock overnight. Inside, three horizontal and three vertical LED strips cast bright, even light across the shelves, making labels easy to read and colours true.

An external digital control panel lets the user set the target temperature between 0 and 8 °C. The display shows the current reading, and the system adjusts the compressor and fan speed to hold that value. The unit plugs into a standard 220-240 V, 50 Hz circuit; its 5.41 kWh daily consumption reflects the balance between rapid cooling and energy efficiency.

The cabinet stands on eight wheels and two front support feet. The wheels allow the refrigerator to be rolled into place, then the feet are lowered to level and stabilise it. The exterior is finished in black, with a smooth worktop that can carry point-of-sale material or a small till. The 1880 mm width, 710 mm depth and 2003 mm height give a footprint that fits behind most retail counters while still offering 1246 L of usable volume.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the wire shelves and interior walls with a damp cloth; the self-evaporating condensate system removes the need to empty trays. The LED strips are sealed and require no maintenance. Shelves can be removed for deeper cleaning if needed.

The DC1664BB is supplied as a black cabinet; an optional custom graphics kit allows the doors and sides to be overlaid with branded artwork.
