A stainless steel frying basket with an integrated hook designed to suspend food within the hot oil of a CP-76 fryer. The hook engages the fryer's rim, holding the basket clear of the heating element while allowing oil to circulate freely around the contents. This arrangement prevents direct contact with the element, ensuring even cooking and reducing the risk of scorching or uneven browning.

The operator lowers the loaded basket into the pre-heated oil, where the hook rests on the fryer's edge. Once the food is cooked, the basket is lifted out, letting excess oil drain back into the vat. The hook's position keeps the basket stable during both immersion and removal, minimising spills and splashing.
