Temperature mode +2/ +10 °C
A bar cooling cabinet keeps bottled and canned drinks at serving temperature without ice, using a refrigeration cycle that circulates chilled air evenly across every shelf. The compressor draws heat from the interior and expels it at the rear, while a fan distributes the cold air so that every bottle reaches the same set point. This method prevents hot spots and frost build-up, ensuring consistent chill without manual rotation of stock.
The operator loads the cabinet by sliding bottles or cans onto the adjustable stainless steel shelves, then sets the desired temperature between +2 and +10 °C on the digital control panel. Once powered, the unit maintains the chosen range automatically, with the self-closing door sealing the interior to minimise temperature drift. The ventilated cooling system runs quietly, allowing the cabinet to be placed directly under a bar counter or against a wall without disrupting service.
Construction is a stainless steel interior and exterior, with four adjustable SS304 steel shelves that slide out for easy restocking. The cabinet stands on adjustable legs, allowing the height to be matched to the bar worktop. A 277 litre volume provides space for up to four shelves of bottled drinks, while the 1462 mm width fits standard bar runs without overhang.
The 0.25 kW power rating corresponds to a single-phase 220-240 V supply, the standard circuit found in most British commercial kitchens and bars. A weight of 118 kg means the unit is moved on a trolley or with two people, and once positioned it remains stable on its legs. The temperature range of +2 to +10 °C covers chilled beers, soft drinks and mixers, but excludes frozen products or ambient storage.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel interior and shelves with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying to prevent water marks. The ventilated cooling system requires occasional vacuuming of the rear grille to maintain airflow, while the adjustable legs can be levelled to keep the door seal effective.
Optional drawer blocks can be fitted to replace shelves: drawer block 2 or drawer block 3, each priced separately. The cabinet is categorised under bar refrigeration in the professional catering catalogue.
