A backbar cooler keeps bottled and canned drinks chilled to serving temperature without ice. A variable-speed compressor draws heat from the cabinet and expels it at the rear, while a fan circulates cold air evenly across every shelf. The result is a steady temperature throughout, so the first and last drink are equally cold. The operator loads the shelves through double-glazed doors that swing either left or right. Six chromed wire shelves adjust in height to fit different bottle and can sizes. Once loaded, the cooler maintains the set temperature between +2 °C and +10 °C, lit inside by an LED light that switches on when the door opens. Six adjustable feet keep the glass doors flush with the bar counter even when the floor slopes beneath. The cabinet is sized to hold 380 standard 330 ml cans, 266 half-litre cans, or 218 bottles of either 330 ml or 500 ml. Its 288-litre volume fits under most bar counters, while the 1350 mm width matches standard backbar runs. A power draw of 0.125 kW plugs into a single-phase 220-240 V circuit. The interior is cooled by a variable-speed compressor charged with 90 g of R290 refrigerant. Double-glazed doors reduce heat gain, and the ventilated system keeps humidity low to prevent condensation on bottles. Shelves are chromed wire for airflow and easy cleaning. Cleaning involves wiping the glass doors, removing and washing the wire shelves, and vacuuming the condenser coil at the rear. The LED light and compressor require no routine maintenance beyond keeping the coil free of dust. The BA31H is a single model with reversible doors and adjustable shelves, designed for backbar installation in commercial bars and restaurants.
