Temperature mode +2/ +10 °C
A backbar refrigerator keeps bottled and canned drinks at serving temperature behind a bar counter. It draws heat from the interior with a refrigeration circuit and expels it at the rear, using a compressor and a refrigerant gas. The ventilated cooling system circulates cold air evenly across every shelf, so every bottle or can chills at the same rate and no warm spots form. Sliding glass doors seal the cabinet when not in use, reducing energy waste and keeping the display visible to customers.
To load the BA26SS, slide the doors open, place bottles or cans on the wire shelves, and close the doors. The self-closing mechanism ensures the doors shut fully without operator attention. An electronic thermostat on the interior wall lets the operator set the temperature between +2 °C and +10 °C; the variable-speed compressor adjusts its output to maintain the chosen level without cycling on and off sharply. An LED light inside the cabinet illuminates the contents when the doors are opened, making selection quick even in dim bar lighting.
The exterior is stainless steel, which resists corrosion and wipes clean easily. Inside, four chrome-plated wire shelves adjust to different bottle and can heights. Each shelf measures 395 mm wide and 328 mm deep, matching the footprint of standard bar bottles. Double-glazed tempered glass doors provide durability and insulation while allowing a clear view of the stock.
The 183-litre volume holds up to 276 cans of 330 ml or 143 bottles of 500 ml. The 900 mm width fits beneath most bar counters, while the 72 kg weight allows two people to move it without a trolley. The 220–240 V power requirement matches standard UK single-phase circuits, and the 0.115 kW rating keeps the load within the capacity of a typical bar supply.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel exterior and glass doors with a damp cloth, removing the wire shelves to wash them separately, and dusting the condenser coil at the rear to maintain airflow. The refrigerant R600a is pre-charged and sealed, requiring no routine maintenance.
The BA26SS is a single model with no variants. It is listed in the catalogue under Bar Refrigeration.
