The cooler circulates chilled air through each compartment, driven by a quiet compressor and an electronic thermostat that holds the set point within a degree. The operator loads up to twenty bottles in each zone, laying them horizontally on the wooden shelves so the corks stay moist. A digital display on the front panel shows the current temperature for both zones; the operator sets the desired values with up and down buttons. Once the programme is confirmed, the cooler runs continuously, switching the compressor and fans on and off as needed to maintain the chosen climate.
