A water tank supplies the reservoir that an espresso machine draws from to brew coffee. Instead of heating a small internal chamber, the machine pulls cold water from the tank, passes it through a heating element, and forces it under pressure through the coffee grounds. This design allows the machine to produce multiple cups in sequence without pausing to refill, as long as the tank holds enough water for the demand.
To use the tank, the operator lifts it from the machine, removes the lid, fills it with fresh cold water to the indicated level, replaces the lid, and slides the tank back into its slot on the machine. The machine's intake valve connects automatically, and the tank is ready for the next brewing cycle. The transparent or translucent material of the tank lets the operator check the water level at a glance without opening the lid, ensuring the machine never runs dry during service.
The tank is moulded in grey food-safe plastic, chosen for its resistance to heat, impact and staining from coffee oils. The lid seals tightly to prevent spills while the tank is carried or when the machine is moved. A small handle on the lid provides a secure grip for lifting the tank in and out of the machine.
This replacement tank fits SAECO Vienna, Vienna Deluxe, Café Crema, Café Grande, Spidem Villa, SUP 018 CR and Trevi models, and KRUPS Palatino 905. It restores the original water capacity and brewing continuity of the machine, allowing the kitchen to maintain its usual output without interruption.
The part is listed in the espresso-machine spares section of the catering-equipment catalogue.
