A reusable wine glass designed for high-turnover catering environments where breakage is a risk. Instead of glass, the vessel is moulded from polypropylene copolymer, a material that flexes without shattering. This allows the glass to survive drops, knocks and repeated handling that would crack traditional glassware, reducing replacement costs and waste.
The glass holds 780 ml, a standard measure for wine service in hotels, festivals and outdoor events. Its 117 mm diameter rim balances stability on trays and tables while the 210 mm height gives the visual presence of a conventional wine glass. The transparent construction, achieved through SAN polymer, mimics the clarity of glass so guests perceive the same presentation as with fragile tumblers.
To use, staff fill the glass to the desired level, serve, then collect after use. Because the material is unbreakable, there is no need to inspect for chips or cracks between services. The glass can be stacked for storage and transport, taking less space than rigid glassware of the same capacity.
Construction is a single-piece moulding in polypropylene copolymer, chosen for its impact resistance and chemical stability. The material withstands repeated washing cycles without clouding or degrading, maintaining the transparent appearance over time.
The glass has no moving parts or controls; its function is determined by its shape and material. The 780 ml volume allows standard wine portions while the dimensions fit most commercial glass racks and dishwashers.
Cleaning follows from the material: the glass can be washed in commercial dishwashers or by hand with standard catering detergents. The smooth surface resists staining and odour retention, so it does not require special treatment between uses.
This model is the standard 780 ml size in the ARAVEN polypropylene range, suitable for wine service in environments where unbreakable tableware is specified.
