Thermocouple for radom gas cookers Stalgast C008081

A thermocouple generates a small electric current when heated by the pilot flame of a gas cooker. This current holds the gas valve open, allowing the main burner to light safely. If the pilot flame goes out, the current stops, the valve closes, and the gas supply cuts off automatically. This safety mechanism prevents unburned gas from building up in the appliance or kitchen.

The thermocouple is installed by threading its M9x1 fitting into the gas valve assembly of the cooker. The 600 mm length allows the sensing tip to reach the pilot flame while the body remains securely connected to the valve. Once fitted, the pilot flame must heat the thermocouple continuously to maintain the gas flow to the burner.

This Stalgast thermocouple is manufactured as a direct replacement for Radom gas cookers. It matches the original part in thread size, length and electrical output, ensuring compatibility with the existing gas safety system.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the exterior with a dry cloth to remove dust or grease. No disassembly or internal servicing is required. The part is supplied as a single unit with no variants or additional components.
