A terminal block provides a fixed point where electrical wires are joined without splicing. In professional catering equipment, heat and vibration can loosen ordinary connections, so a ceramic block is used to insulate the metal contacts and hold them firmly in place. The ceramic material does not melt or deform under the temperatures generated by motors, heating elements or control circuits, ensuring the connection stays tight and safe throughout the life of the appliance.
The operator fits the stripped ends of two wires into the block, one on each side of the central partition. A screw on each pole is tightened to clamp the wire against the metal contact, creating a solid mechanical and electrical joint. Once both screws are secure, the block can be mounted inside the appliance chassis or control panel, where it remains accessible for future maintenance or wiring changes.
This 2-pole ceramic terminal block is designed for use in SAECO professional catering equipment, where it maintains stable connections in high-temperature environments such as espresso machines, grinders and combination ovens. The ceramic body resists heat, moisture and corrosion, preventing short circuits and reducing the risk of electrical failure during service.
Cleaning is limited to removing dust or grease from the exterior with a dry cloth; solvents or water must never reach the internal contacts. The block itself requires no routine maintenance beyond periodic inspection to confirm the screws remain tight and the ceramic is uncracked.
