Professional gas stove with two burners 3.5 7 kW 700 series
A gas cooker heats by burning propane or butane directly beneath the cooking surface. The flame transfers heat instantly to pots and pans, giving precise control over temperature and quick response when the setting is changed. This method is preferred in professional kitchens for tasks that need high heat or rapid adjustment, such as searing, sautéing or boiling large volumes of water.
The Stalgast Gas Cooker 700 is built with two burners: one rated at 3.5 kW and the other at 7 kW. Each burner can be reduced to a third of its power for a smaller, economical flame. The operator lights the pilot flame, selects the burner and adjusts the knob to the desired setting. A flame safety device cuts the gas supply if the flame goes out, preventing unburned gas from escaping. Cast iron grids support heavy or large-diameter utensils, and the removable bowl beneath the burners catches spills and can be washed in a dishwasher.
The cooker is operated from the front panel, where ergonomic knobs control the gas flow to each burner. The panel is laser-engraved for durability and clear marking. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, and it can be installed on an open skeletal frame or on a base with a cupboard door. While the cooker is supplied without a combustion chimney, one can be fitted as an optional extra to improve ventilation.
The footprint of 400 mm depth by 700 mm width fits standard worktop spaces, and the 250 mm height keeps the cooking surface at a comfortable working level. The total power of 10.5 kW requires a dedicated gas supply line sized for the load. The unit is compatible with both propane and butane, identified by the reference numbers 521 and 523 respectively.
Cleaning involves removing the cast iron grids and the dishwasher-safe bowl, wiping the burners and front panel, and checking that the flame safety device is unobstructed. The adjustable feet should be inspected periodically to ensure the cooker remains stable.
