Gas range with one burner. Suitable for large pots of 50 to 100L
A stockpot stove concentrates heat directly beneath a single large pot, transferring energy through a focused burner ring. The flame heats the base of the pot evenly, allowing rapid boiling, simmering or reduction of stocks, soups and sauces without hot spots. A pilot flame keeps the burner ready to ignite instantly, while a flame safety device cuts the gas supply if the flame extinguishes, preventing unburned gas from accumulating. Reducing the burner to one-third power maintains a gentle simmer, saving fuel during long cooking cycles.
Place the pot on the removable stainless steel grate, ensuring it sits within the recommended 450 to 500 mm diameter range. Ignite the pilot, then open the main gas valve to light the burner. Adjust the flame to full power for boiling or reduce it to one-third for simmering. Monitor the cooking process through the clear view of the pot, and remove the pot once the contents reach the desired consistency. The grate lifts out for cleaning or to access the burner assembly.
The stove is built with a stainless steel grate and a burner assembly that includes a pilot flame and a flame safety device. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled on uneven floors, ensuring the pot remains stable during use.
The 14 kW power rating indicates the load on the gas supply, suitable for large-volume cooking in professional kitchens. The 565 mm width, 605 mm depth and 380 mm height provide a compact footprint that fits beneath standard worktops while accommodating pots of 50 to 100 L capacity. The adjustable feet can be raised or lowered to align the stove with adjacent equipment.
Clean the removable grate by washing it in hot soapy water or a commercial degreaser. Wipe the burner assembly with a damp cloth to remove spills, avoiding abrasive pads that could damage the surface. Check the flame safety device periodically to ensure it responds correctly to flame failure.
The stove is also available in gas versions G27 and G31, allowing compatibility with different gas supply standards.
This stockpot stove is listed in the catering equipment catalogue under large-volume cooking appliances.
