A mobile worktop on castors, this serving trolley keeps hot or cold dishes within reach during service without occupying fixed counter space. Three shelves create separate levels so that plates, trays and serving utensils can be organised by course or by station, reducing cross-traffic in the kitchen and speeding up plating.
The trolley rolls on four swivel castors, allowing it to be pushed between the pass and the dining area or repositioned beside a carving station, buffet line or beverage counter. Its open-frame construction lets air circulate freely around the shelves, helping to maintain food temperature during transit and reducing condensation on chilled items.
Loading is straightforward: place prepared dishes on the shelves in the order they will be served. The top shelf is typically used for garnishes or small items, the middle for main plates, and the bottom for larger trays or backup stock. Once loaded, the trolley is wheeled to the point of service, where staff can access each level without bending or reaching across other items.
The frame is constructed from tubular steel for rigidity, while the shelves themselves are flat, smooth surfaces that support standard gastronorm trays and plated dishes. The 40 kg weight ensures stability when fully loaded, yet the trolley remains light enough to manoeuvre through doorways and around tight corners in a busy kitchen.
No controls are fitted; operation is purely mechanical. The trolley's footprint of 860 mm by 540 mm allows it to fit through standard kitchen doorways and alongside most worktops, while the 940 mm height keeps the top shelf at a comfortable working level for staff of average stature.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the shelves and frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each service. The absence of motors, wiring or enclosed spaces means there are no hidden areas where food debris can accumulate, simplifying daily upkeep.
This model is a single variant with three fixed shelves. It is placed in the Stalgast catalogue under mobile service equipment.
